This is a complete gutting of a difficult trait to get and makes it so it basically as no use, there are like 3 chems in total that can reduce nausea and none of them are just something you can even remotely shove into a plant unless you got extremely lucky from strange seeds. Being nauseous is not a commonly experienced symptom people encounter because most things that make you nauseous are easily avoidable, like eating raw meat as a human. However, If you have ever experienced high levels of nausea it is basically removal from the round for 5 to 8 minutes, you will puke stun yourself repeatedly for 30+ seconds, endless screen shakes, move at a snails pace when you puke yourself into starvation. I don't think the act of teleporting oneself with a goofy ahh tomato warrants such a horrible state. with above mentioned, you made this utterly a worse experience for people hit by these tomatoes in rapid succession. The sec officer whose previous worry was just getting out of a room they don't have access to now has to worry about puke stun and screen shake for over a minute, just because they got hit by tomatoes. RNG is now more likely to teleport you in a completely meaningless way as well. Trying to get past an airlock but rng sent you backwards, congrats you have to wait 3 minutes for nausea to wear off to try again. Try to teleport away from an officer but it dumps you one tile over, instead of to safety, so the 20 minutes of effort for bluespace activity was pointless. Tomatoes trapped you in a room? RNG makes you teleport in that room over and over and you get to sit rhere and wait out the nausea. This PR has way too many unforseen consequences and is an overnerf, and I've seen how much yogs cares about correcting past overnerfs, which is basically we don't care about correcting them at all. I'm glad this PR has "Balance council approved" slapped on it with no real feedback or publicly viewable discussion. |

Moja you should be able to still teleport twice in a row without vomiting. This just means that it now can't be spammed to the point that you're completely uncatchable without instant stuns. |
Actually implements the teleport range reduction of #18430 and makes squashing it (or being hit by it but that's less spammable) generate some disgust and confusion. After two teleports, any more will have a chance to start making you vomit. Teleport wisely.
