This PR adds the classic predator-prey time series dataset (abundance.csv) to the package. Originally compiled in the rEDM R package, this dataset is widely adopted as a control benchmark for nonlinear causal discovery methods, particularly Convergent Cross Mapping (CCM) and Empirical Dynamic Modeling (EDM).

Dataset Overview

Field Details
Format CSV (cleaned, NA-free)
Source Derived from rEDM::paramecium_didinium
Variables Time (days, sampled at approximately 0.5-day intervals), paramecium (prey density), didinium (predator density)
Records 70+ time steps (closed laboratory microcosm)
Causal Structure Bidirectional feedback: paramecium → didinium (resource-driven growth) & didinium → paramecium (predation suppression)
