Having viridis as a built-in colormap is great. There are several other perceptually uniform colormaps in Matplotlib that would be very useful to have here as built-ins:
https://matplotlib.org/stable/tutorials/colors/colormaps.html
https://www.kennethmoreland.com/color-advice/
I have added: plasma, inferno, magma. This will greatly simplify the usage of perceptually uniform color maps with Branca.
Thanks!
