Some GitHub actions are failing due to 403/429 responses from the npm registry

For the record, I'm also seeing this on a private repo I'm working on. A couple of retries seem to work around this.

We are getting this too:

looks like its something that happened in this week (yesterday-today).
Is someone know if it is known issue?

Please don’t reply to this issue about outage happening in other repositories - yes the outage is likely universal but this issue is for tracking the maintenance of GitHub actions in this repo.

I got a link from npm support for the ticket I sent: https://status.npmjs.org/incidents/njwnds2vmdhz - if you want to follow what they are doing for this repository you can subscribe to it; maybe that helps other repos too.

The status update says that a fix was deployed and it was resolved; indeed the github actions look greener in the past few hours. Going to close this now, can reopen if the issues come back again.
