🪲 Description
Not sure if this is an obvious incompatibility or an actual bug - I can't create any Intel bootable media on an ARM Macbook. It always fails with:
Invalid Termination Status: 1
installer: Package name is macOS Monterey
installer: Installing at base path /Volumes/052-60131
installer: The install failed. (The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install. The Installer could not install the software.)
2025-09-12 15:37:40.952 installer[6353:357034] Opened package is not the same at install time...
This is latest Sequoia 15.6.1 on 2021 Macbook Pro M! Pro.
📋 Steps to Reproduce
This is just normal usage trying to create an installer for Monterey or Big Sur on an M1 Pro Macbook Pro.
I could see this being impossible since the actual installer program is Intel based, but I feel like I've created Intel installers from other ARM processor Macs before. Sorry if this wasn't actually a bug in that case.
