hi, i'm max.

staff data engineer. chemistry PhD turned data engineer - driven by curiosity and a habit of simplifying complex systems.

currently at 7NXT Health (7Mind/Gymondo), reshaping subscription data models and wrangling dbt at scale. before that, ~7 years at idealo - from marketing analyst to BI engineer, building bot detection, session models, data contracts, and metadata management along the way.

passionate about optimizing processes - whether in a chemistry lab, data pipelines, or business workflows. lately leaning hard into AI to make that happen faster. i believe the best data platform emerges from clear ownership, transparency, and process automation.
