Built a fully autonomous off-road machine from the ground up with a small team. Led the electronics design and low-level control systems, and developed the mapping and low-level planning interfaces.

Led software development for the Riptide AUV — the first ROS2-based vehicle to compete at RoboSub. Placed 10th in autonomy and 3rd in documentation. As Software Team Lead for 2022–2023, drove improvements in simulation, controls, UX, and system documentation.

Designed and built an autonomous football-throwing robot that could track and throw to a moving player. Responsible for all software (C++ / Python / ROS2) and mechanical design of a 26 lb system.

Started on FRC Team 4145 and competed at ISEF in 2016 and 2017. In 2018, led the team as alliance captain to our first regional win at Buckeye Regional. Mentored 2019–2022; the team won two Innovation in Control awards and achieved the first ROS2 deployment on an FRC robot.
