At work, you'll find me developing GitHub Skills for the GitHub Learn team.
In the past, I was deep in the energy industry (15+ years). Back then, you could find me building frameworks and core (software) technologies for promoting energy transition and carbon out. #HackThePlanet I was a pushy advocate for the Baker Hughes developers, and I tried my best to organize a big GitHub organization. I was also heavily involved in the LatinX employee advocacy group as the tech guru and events leader. Best volunteers ever! And, great memories! 💚
My 5 life guidelines:
- Always be present, you might notice an opportunity.
- If you don't agree, try on the other perspective first.
- Your life is defined by your relationships, perception, and honor. In the end, it's all you have.
- Live life through choice, not habits.
- Be a stand for others; support them. Don't correct or try to teach them.
- Know when to break the rules. There are always exceptions.
