Shift budget month?

I am getting my salary 24-27 of each month. That means that in the stats my next month salary is in current month's budget.
Would be great to have a way to set start/end date of "budget" month, so I could see how much money I have left before I got the salary

This can be also true for some "big expenses", lately paid / receives etc...
What about a way to click on a transaction and "assign" it to another month than the one which is given by the transaction date ?
Such a transaction could appear in its real month, for instance in pale grey, and in the assigned month, with some little label to remember or whatever

I can see a need for the budget date shift. We get paid on the 15th or by the 15th (if the 15th falls on a weekend). In my review of other software applications, I found a few that offer the ability to shift the budget date this is generally a global setting and should not be altered regularly as it affects the budget globally. I think it would be a good feature to allow you to pick the budget starting date e.g. 1st, 15th, or 27th. If someone picked the 29th, 30th, or 31st the application would just have to substitute the last day of the month if that month does not have one of those days. We are coming from YNAB and we never had the ability to shift the budget date.

So far I am working around it by moving salary transaction to the 1st of next month
