Hey, I'm Lode 👋

Senior Software Engineer at In The Pocket in Belgium, where I've been building things since 2011 — from iOS & web developer to Solution Architect to becoming a Senior Software Engineer embracing the AI-augmented development era.

Before that, I was a Lead Frontend Developer at Netlog, one of Europe's largest social networks at the time.

  • 🔭 Focused on React Native & Expo, with deep roots in native iOS (Swift) and web development
  • 💡 My forté: clean code, architecture and mentoring — I believe good architecture is the best way to enforce separation of concerns and maintainability, and I love passing that mindset on to others
  • 🏗️ Apps I've helped build include Daikin Onecta, HLN.be, De Morgen, Teamleader, Humo's TV-gids, Fednot Izimi and many many more
