Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Git
• Node.js and npm Node ^4.2.3, npm ^2.14.7
• Bower (npm install --global bower)
• Ruby and then gem install sass
• Grunt (npm install --global grunt-cli)
• SQLite

Setup

For the BDMT models, you must supply credentials for the Postgresql database we're using. This is done in server/config/local.env.js, and can be copied from the sample js file in the same directory. In addition, make sure postgres is installed and running, with an appropriate database, along with a working user with appropriate permissions for that database.

Developing

1. Run npm install to install server dependencies.

2. Run bower install to install front-end dependencies.

3. Run grunt serve to start the development server. It should automatically open the client in your browser when ready.

Build & development

Run grunt build for building and grunt serve for preview.

Testing

Running npm test will run the unit tests with karma.
