This version adds important new features to DDC capabilities, including TLS support, PVC scaling, and pod debugging. It also includes enhancements to Helm capabilities and detailed support for pod resources, and fixes several issues.

Hello @catpineapple, could you please explain how the "DDC supports PVC expansion" feature work? I just updated the operator version to 25.8.0 and edited my doris cluster spec from

    persistentVolumes:
      - persistentVolumeClaimSpec:
          storageClassName: managed-csi-premium
          accessModes:
            - ReadWriteOnce
          resources:
            requests:
              storage: 25Gi

to

    persistentVolumes:
      - persistentVolumeClaimSpec:
          storageClassName: managed-csi-premium
          accessModes:
            - ReadWriteOnce
          resources:
            requests:
              storage: 26Gi

and nothing happened after I applied the changes

P.S - Is there a doc that shows how to upgrade the Doris operator safely? Could you please recommend some best practices for the same? ( currently update the image version triggers a rolling restart of all doris components like ms, fe and be is this an expected behaviour ? )

Hello @catpineapple, would really appreciate if you can help on this. I tried changing the pv size and reapplying the yaml spec, but it did not help. Is there a specific step to increase the PV?
