Currently we are using Ipv6 only Kubernetes Cluster. When we step up statsd exporter, we experienced issue with metrics unable to be delivered to Prometheus. with some digging, we notice the statsdclient has ipv6 disabled by default: https://github.com/jsocol/pystatsd/blob/main/statsd/client/udp.py#L31.
we want to add an config parameter to enable ipv6 for statsd resolving.
