What happened and how to reproduce it?

We have now had so many different bugs tied specifically to our Monaco Editor setup. And they keep getting reported. The code in order to properly configure Monaco is hard to read and therefore hard to maintain.

What you think should happen instead?

Let's find lighterweight replacements that do not require special configuration.

Yes, monaco editor has proven to be hard to maintain for our setup (custom themes, collapse behavior, etc...). I secretly hoped that we've reached a 'stable' configuration.

If bugs keep coming, I don't mind finding a replacement but that could mean another bunch of bugs before it stabilizes because a full IDE in the browser is kind of a big piece (diff view, collapses, custom theme integration, bundle size, etc...)
