Description
Majority of interested IT people would want to see the backend data-flow, we need to be able to clearly demonstrate what is happening “under the hood.” In practice, this means providing transparency into system behavior, since potential integrators typically do not want to replace their existing UI.
It would be very useful to introduce customizable log levels per agent. This might be also extended not only to Agents but perhaps Jobs or other useful entities in SharpClaw.
This enhancement request is tailored towards the transcription module, but is viable in other cases.
API Changes
- Ability to configure log levels individually for each agent.
- Support for live log streaming, enabling real-time visibility.
- Option to filter logs selectively (similar to using grep), so only relevant outputs are displayed.
- Capability to display:
- Only responses (without inputs, if desired)
- Logs from specific agents (e.g., transcription agents or any other agent)
Perhaps a script on it's own or a separate logging-window would suffice.
Intended Use-Case
I would want to integrate this into the application - but my team is skeptical of what is going in the background; I want to give them visibility of this tool's strengths.
