Y-axis when zoomed in

On Mac, sometimes when I am zoomed in very closely in the y-axis range, the axis changes to a smaller range. These data are = -8999 yet the axis shows -2.0.

Perhaps this is scaled? But if I apply a drift correction of 0.5, the data shift up to -1.5.

If I zoom in again, the axis values change even further:

Update: this is occurring on Windows as well.

@AmberSJones Ok so I have done some research and it looks like the values are actually being calculated correctly and if you zoom all the way back out again it is displayed correctly.
below are two screenshots, the first one shows the nodatavalue and the second shows the data after I have added 5 to the value. it is correct. I am still working on getting it to display correctly but for now at least we know it is not totally messed up.
