This enhancement introduces a "Hide empty columns" layout option to
mis.report.instanceto reduce visual noise and save horizontal space in multi-period reports. When enabled, any column where all displayed values are empty is removed from the final view. This rule applies to the on-screen widget preview, the PDF export, and the XLSX export.An integration test has been added to validate the mechanism using date-dependent KPIs, confirming that empty columns correctly collapse when the option is active and reappear when it is turned off.
