This issue tracks game mechanics that the hearing impaired would struggle to notice or never notice. If anyone notices one. Please post a comment so we can eventually add a visual indicator.

Lost Woods should have an optional visual indicator for the hearing impaired in the Lost Woods

The day/night transition sound effects have no visual equivalent,
The skulltula sound has no visual equivalent (since there could be an obstruction blocking your view of it while still being audible),
Cows that are mooing nearby don't all have visual indicators (the ones in grottos have the stone of agony),
The various "puzzle solved" jingles have no visual indication in some places,
Ocarina notes when you're playing in non-scripted areas have no confirmation of the notes played since there's no staff,
And does the nayru's love timer sound have an associated visual difference (it's been that long since I used it that I can't remember!)

The "Danger" music should have an indicator too, there's no visual indication you're near a hidden enemy otherwise.
