Will look into it. |

We can see this issue on composer too and to fix that we will have to use the fallback fonts. And for composer here - Line 1379 in eb54f23 But we have one case where it doesn't work. Lines 133 to 136 in eb54f23 If we try to add the fallback fonts in baseFontStyle it doesn't work. |
|
How are you passing the fallback fonts? |
|
@parasharrajat, I tried using Lines 133 to 136 in eb54f23 but it didn't work. I also tried applying only |
|
Which platform has issues? Could you please share some videos of where it worked including the fix and before the fix? |
|
It isn't platform specific. The issue is that if we use two fonts at line 136, only the first font gets applied. Lines 133 to 136 in eb54f23 For example if you try using Screen.Recording.2022-07-11.at.11.40.50.PM.mov |

Good work, it is working great.
The only difference is that emoji rendered on each platform has different styles which are expected as we are using native Unicode chars that depend on the platform.

@thesahindia thanks for making the requested changes 7 days ago, would you please tag us when this is ready for review again so we don't delay so long? :D Also since it has been 7 days since your last commit, would you please merge main & test again to make sure there's no regressions? |
|
Also, it is now mandatory to complete the checklist even though things don't apply. Thus just check the non-applicable items off. |

Avatar, I verified the components usingAvatarhave been tested & I retested again) - I verified all code is DRY (the PR doesn't include any logic written more than once, with the exception of tests)
- I verified any variables that can be defined as constants (ie. in CONST.js or at the top of the file that uses the constant) are defined as such
- If a new component is created I verified that:
- A similar component doesn't exist in the codebase
- All props are defined accurately and each prop has a

displayNameproperty - The file is named correctly
- The component has a clear name that is non-ambiguous and the purpose of the component can be inferred from the name alone
- The only data being stored in the state is data necessary for rendering and nothing else
- For Class Components, any internal methods passed to components event handlers are bound to
thisproperly so there are no scoping issues (i.e. foronClick={this.submit}the methodthis.submitshould be bound tothisin the constructor) - Any internal methods bound to
thisare necessary to be bound (i.e. avoidthis.submit = this.submit.bind(this);ifthis.submitis never passed to a component event handler likeonClick) - All JSX used for rendering exists in the render method
- The component has the minimum amount of code necessary for its purpose, and it is broken down into smaller components in order to separate concerns and functions
- If a new CSS style is added I verified that:
- A similar style doesn't already exist
- The style can't be created with an existing StyleUtils function (i.e.
StyleUtils.getBackgroundAndBorderStyle(themeColors.componentBG)
- If the PR modifies a generic component, I tested and verified that those changes do not break usages of that component in the rest of the App (i.e. if a shared library or component like
Avataris modified, I verified thatAvataris working as expected in all cases) - If the PR modifies a component related to any of the existing Storybook stories, I tested and verified all stories for that component are still working as expected.
- I have checked off every checkbox in the PR reviewer checklist, including those that don't apply to this PR.
