Tone / deterministic writing: "We suggest also having a physical card available at the time of payment/pickup, just in case" uses hedging language ("just in case," "we suggest"). Per HELPSITE_NAMING_CONVENTIONS.md (Deterministic Writing Rule), content should be literal, exact, and consistent. Per HELP_AUTHORING_GUIDELINES.md Section 1, articles must be "concise and actionable."

Consider a more direct phrasing, e.g.:

Have a physical card available at the time of payment or pickup. Some hotels and car rental agencies can only use the central billing card to guarantee the reservation, not to process final payment.

- We recommend completing a credit card authorization for any hotel and rental bookings to ensure a smooth employee experience.

Step formatting violation: These explanatory bullet points break the sequential numbered step flow (governance: HELP_AUTHORING_GUIDELINES.md Section 5 — steps must be "Sequential, Clear, Action-oriented").

Inserting - bullets between steps 2 and 3 disrupts the procedural sequence and makes it harder to follow. Move these notes either:

  • After the numbered steps as a separate explanatory paragraph or callout, or
  • Into a dedicated ## section (e.g., "What to know about hotel and car rental payments with Central Billing")

This also aligns with Section 7 (Cross-Linking Standards): "Do not interrupt procedural flow with inline links" — the same principle applies to inline explanatory content within step sequences.

5. Choose the central billing card.
