@truph01 I cherry-picked 97a1463 and it's fixed combined with the changes on this PR, so we can wait for #87376, which fixes problems with layout on Android caused by Navigation bar, to be merged first if you prefer.

I just tested again, and it works well. Not sure why it doesn't work in my 1st attempt, it looks like a cache issue.
