Explanation of Change

Proposal: Ensure sync status UI updates consistently by properly handling double-encoded push events

Background:
When admins update accounting settings in Expensify, the UI should display a loading icon and sync status message to indicate progress. This behavior is inconsistent.

Problem:
Some push events are double-encoded JSON. When this occurs, the event isn't parsed correctly, which prevents the UI from showing sync status updates.

Solution:
Add logic to detect and parse double-encoded JSON in push events, ensuring the data reaches the Onyx subscription and the UI updates as expected.

• Go back to accounting connections
• ✅ The loading icon and sync status messages are displayed after changing any parameter.
