Details
The purpose of this PR is to run the E2E performance tests on any branch. Currently the workflow only works if the PR was already merged. For unmerged PRs, the workflow fails at the
git checkout ${{ merge_commit_sha }}step withfatal: reference is not a tree.Solution
If the PR is not merged, instead of trying to checkout the merge commit sha (the test merge commit), merge the head commit of the PR and set it as the "delta ref". In order to do this, go through the following steps:
git merge --no-commitsometimes fails if no credentials have been set, I'm not sure whyExamples of the workflow working correctly ("delta ref" checked out, apks built and downloaded):
