Preconditions: Expensify card feature has been set up in the workspace

1. Sign in to ND
2. Click "Issue card",
3. select any member
4. select any option in “Choose a card type” page
5. Enter an amount in “Set a limit” page
6. Enter a card name in “Give it a name” page
7. Observe the field title is "Card name"
8. select Next
9. Observe the field title is "Name"

Expected Result:

expected result : field title should be consistent in steps 4 and 6. Both can use either Card Name or Name.

Actual Result:

Actual result : field titles in steps 4 and 6 are inconsistent.
step 4 : field title is "Card name"
step 6 : field title is "Name"

Please re-state the problem that we are trying to solve in this issue.

During the card issuance flow, there is an inconsistency in the field title used for the card name:

• Step 4 ("Give it a name" page): The field title displays as "Card name"
• Step 6 (Confirmation page): The field title displays as "Name"

This inconsistency creates a confusing user experience as users see different labels for the same field in different steps of the same flow.

What is the root cause of that problem?

The inconsistency is caused by using different translation keys in the two steps:

• CardNameStep.tsx (Step 4) uses translate('workspace.card.issueNewCard.cardName') which translates to "Card name"
• ConfirmationStep.tsx (Step 6) uses translate('workspace.card.issueNewCard.name') which translates to "Name"

Both translation keys exist in the language files, but they should use the same key for consistency.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

Update the ConfirmationStep component to use the same translation key as CardNameStep, ensuring both steps display "Card name" consistently.

Field titles are inconsistent in the "Issue new Expensify Card" flow: step 4 shows "Card name" while step 6 (confirmation) shows "Name". This UI mismatch can confuse users and looks unpolished.

What is the root cause of that problem?

Different translation keys/strings are used for the same concept. One place uses the specific key for the card label (cardName) and another uses a generic name key, which maps to different English strings.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

Use a single, specific translation key for the card title everywhere. Recommendation:
Replace uses of workspace.card.issueNewCard.name with workspace.card.issueNewCard.cardName in confirmation and any other relevant components.
Confirm src/languages/* defines workspace.card.issueNewCard.cardName = 'Card name'.
