Action Performed:

1. Open the app
2. Navigate to any conversation.
3. Tap the + icon in the message input box.
4. Select Add Attachment.
5. From the Files app, choose a jpg file larger than 24MB

Expected Result:

The app should automatically resize the image to be lower than 24mb, just like we did in #44084

The app should remain responsive and allow the user to continue using it normally.

Actual Result:

The app freezes right after selecting a file larger than 24MB. The loading spinner keeps spinning indefinitely, but no error modal is shown. The attachment is not uploaded, and the user cannot interact with the app.
