Action Performed:

1. Sign in to the ND Hybrid app with a gmail account
2. Create a workspace, create a scan expense in the workspace chat
3. Navigate to the device settings, toggle off the camera for the Expensify app
4. Navigate back to the app, open the expense details from step2, tap the receipt preview, then 3 dot menu, select Replace option
5. On the screen with the message "Camera access is required to take pictures of receipts" tap "Continue"
6. On the camera access modal tap "Settings"
7. Toggle on the camera permission for the app, tap the back arrow at the top left corner to navigate back to the Expensify
8. Tap the green circle button to take a picture

Expected Result:

User is landed in the expense details after enabling camera permission and taking a picture to replace the receipt

Actual Result:

User is dropped in the Inbox tab after enabling camera permission and taking a picture to replace the receipt

It looks like I can reproduce something similar with the Profile avatar flow as well:

1. Sign in to the ND Hybrid app
2. Navigate to Account -> Profile
3. Start to update Profile avatar -> Camera
4. The camera access modal will appear (Important note: this specific alert will be shown, if user denied the camera permission the first time they were asked for it, or manually turned off the camera permission)
5. On the camera access modal tap "Settings"
6. Toggle on the camera permission for the app, tap the back arrow at the top left corner to navigate back to the Expensify
7. On the Profile page tap back button -> you should be navigated back to the Account page, but instead navigated to the Home page.

I guess the same can happen in any place with nested navigation where we ask for the camera permission for the second time.
