Action Performed:

1. A user submits an IOU report
2. An admin opens the report and linked to the workspace
3. Observe that the report now belongs to the workspace
4. Approve the report

Expected Result:

Once an IOU is paid/approved using a workspace’s business bank account, and the report becomes a workspace-owned expense report, the title should:
Drop the “IOU” label. Adopt the workspace’s default report title format

Actual Result:

The report continues to be labeled as an IOU, even after ownership is transferred to the workspace via admin payment

The report continues to be labeled as an IOU, even after ownership is transferred to the workspace via admin payment

What is the root cause of that problem?

When the admin pays with a business bank account, we move the iou report to the workspace, but the reportName of iouReport and childReportName of reportPreview action aren't changed. And it's IOU. Then, in the preview, the title of the expense report is still IOU.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

1. In optimistic data, we should update reportName of the expense report and childReportName of reportPreview with the workspace’s default report title format. We can follow the same logic here

2. The backend should update the same for iouReport and reportPreview action in MoveIOUReportToExistingPolicy API

Add unit test for moveIOUReportToPolicy function to verify the reportName of expense report is updated correctly
