Action Performed:

Precondition : Admin has preference set to "focus mode"

1. Create a workspace
2. Submit expense report as a employee
3. Approve and pay the report

Expected Result:

Having the 'hidden' notification preference" the reports are not displayed in LHN and marked as read by the migration

@puneetlath What I found as root cause for why your report is still being shown is because in the code block below shouldOverrideHidden is true because isExpenseReportWithoutParentAccess is true which comes from your report object's hasParentAccess being false (see diff below):

When it comes to a solution, I don't have the context behind hasParentAccess and all its implications therefore I cannot be certain of the way to go here - but since we have the shouldOverrideHidden logic which includes the isExpenseReportWithoutParentAccess check, I'm assuming there must be a reason for it.

Got it! I had a feeling it might be something to do with that.

That logic should only show the report in the LHN if the report has an RBR or GBR. Otherwise, it should remain hidden. Can you adjust it accordingly?

1. We should only remove isExpenseReportWithoutParentAccess and keep all other checks ?
2. If yes to (1.), should I open a PR with the change ?
3. If yes to (2.), given that I don't have access to your Expensify account for testing, for the Screenshots/Videos section of the PR Author Checklist should I demonstrate the fix using Onyx.set locally ?
