Cannot start peptizer 1.8.3.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloading the latest peptizer and trying to start it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: program would start. I see instead nothing, not even a error message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Peptizer 1.8.3., java 1.7.0_17-b02; on Windows 7. Tested also with Linux, with 
java 1.6 and 1.7. with same result.

Please provide any additional information below.
Double clicking .jar file does not give any reaction. Nothing will start, and 
there is no error message. This happens when the IT-support tried to install it 
to my computer, it didn't work on his computer either (I'm not aware of the 
specifics of that computer). And a friend of mine tried it  with a Linux, and 
the result was the same.
